Frequently Asked Questions

Are your fabrics first quality ?
Yes all fabrics we offer are inspected upon arrival and again when shipped. If we have limited stock and find a minor flaw we will contact you and try to work around it.

Will my fabric be in one continuous piece ?
We always ship fabric in one piece, if we can’t we will contact you and try to work out cut lengths that will work and make sure of dye lot matching. Some fabrics only come in 30 yard maximum rolls, we have a knowledgeable staff that can help work around most situations.

Can I get more yardage than listed ?
We may have additional yardage in our retail store or can order from the mill if the fabric is available. Contact us with any questions on stock. (336) 803-3569 or email at customerservice@1502fabrics.com

How and when will my fabric ship ?
We ship UPS FedEx USPS the following business day of order. Large orders are shipped on a roll and small orders could be folded at our discretion unless a specific fabric requires to be rolled. You can contact us if you would like to specify fabric on a roll, there could be a flat fee that Carriers now charges for extended length packages. Mill direct items are ordered the following business day and require additional processing time.

What size are your samples ?
The samples we cut from stock are approximately 5″ X 8″ or envelope size and for color only. Samples that are mill direct vary but typically are larger memo size samples. We do not cut samples from remnants since they are pre-measured and sold by the piece. If you need something larger we will try to accommodate. Samples usually do not have tracking information.

What’s the difference in remnants and fabric by the yard ?
Remnants are short ends that are pre-measured sold and priced by the piece, fabric by the yard can be purchased in increments of one yard and are priced by the yard.

What is your return policy ?
View our return policy and be assured we will always do the right thing as a family business. If you have a problem we will do anything reasonable to work it out.

How much is shipping ?
